Baseball

Eli had a fantastic baseball season this year. Things kind of came to a close quickly because our last game was rained out. Rain in June? Why yes, it's been pretty cold and wet around these parts. Eli's been lucky to work with amazing, positive, coaches (the head coach also happens to be his principal), and fortunately for us, many of them also coach soccer. Eli's progressed in his abilities, especially fielding, this year, and is much more confident out on the field. He had some really great plays and found second and third bases to be his lucky positions because he frequently got players out when played those spots. While I merely survive the baseball season, Eli really loves it, so I make it through the long games and countless practices, knowing that my boy is out there having great fun.

Eli always looks really serious when he's playing. It doesn't look like he's having fun, but when he recounts the game to me afterward, he's all smiles.
