It was chaos...not going to lie.

While making cabbage rolls for New Year's I stumbled upon this gem in Grandmom's closet.  It's so 1985 right?  I had one very similar when I was younger.  My kids call me Beverly Goldberg.

Happy New Year friends! Here's what we've been up to in 2016:

Ben: In his fourth year working at Mountain House High School as principal, working on his dissertation, and enjoys serving with the young men at church.

Danelle: Teaching preschool co-ops for Ammon and Ruby, started teaching art lessons at the elementary school, and looks forward to young women camp each summer.

Meilani (15): Got her permit in July, was captain of her high school volleyball team, and is finding a new passion in her choir class.

Eli (13): Loved playing on his middle school volleyball team, is the student body president at school, and is gearing up for his eagle project for scouts.

Sariah (11): Also took up volleyball this year at school, is still loving basketball and soccer, and has become our go-to babysitter.

Liam (9): Constantly intrigued with how things work, loves participating in the STEM club at school, and took up flag football this fall.

Seth (7): Loves school, mostly because he gets to be with his friends, had fun playing soccer recently, and enjoys riling up his younger siblings at home.

Ammon (5): Was so excited to finally play soccer on a real team this year, is learning his letters at preschool, and loves playing with blocks, legos and batman.

Ruby (3): Asks every day if it's a preschool day (cries when it's not), insists on doing everything without help, and is obsessed with her baby dolls.

Wishing you a bright 2017!

Love,
The Fobert Family
