Conference Weekend

General Conference Weekend always seems to roll around when we're just about at our breaking point.  The hustle and bustle of life and responsibilities stretch us to our limits on a daily basis, then suddenly, when we're about completely loose it, it's conference weekend and for a couple days, we get to stay home in our jammies, watch messages of inspiration and revelation from our church leaders, and are strengthened and uplifted to the point that we can once again get up tomorrow and start the messy crazy all over again.  I'm so thankful for General Conference.  It really is a little slice of heaven in our family room, right in the middle of the dirty dishes, poopy diapers, and blanket forts.  Here's a little glimpse into our October conference weekend:

Lots of baby snuggles on the couch.

World's Faire Doughnuts from Grammy.

Lego creations

Mom & Dad jungle gym

Conference artwork

Ben was at school the weekend of his birthday so we also made time for homemade cinnamon rolls to celebrate the big 3-8 on Sunday evening.
