Auntie Danae, who is a good friend from our BYU-Hawaii days, came to town for a conference. We met her for dinner at our beloved Bancheros and enjoyed catching up. Danae is one of those friends I can go forever without talking to and then pick right back up as if we'd seen each other yesterday. We're glad we could see her, even if only for a quick visit. If you look closely, you can see Ben in the picture too...well, his big ol' shadow anyway! Hence why I'm usually taking the pictures, rather than being in them. On the way home from dinner we got to witness a full on high speed chase! There were literally about 40 cop cars chasing down one car. Ben tuned into the police scanner on his ipad and we were all entertained the whole way home. The bad guys were caught in the end.

You what I always laughed at . . . chases in Hawaii. I mean where sis the crook think he was going to go?
