Sean
Last weekend, the whole family went out to dinner to celebrate my brother Sean. We were celebrating a milestone that I seriously doubted would ever come. Sean now has 90 days of sobriety. I couldn't be more proud of him. Since my brother was a preteen, he's been burdened with the weight of drug and alcohol addiction. I actually have never really known him sober, and this new change in his life has given me the gift of a brother that I'd virtually given up even hoping for. Sean is caring, funny, kind, thoughtful, hard working and a joy to be with. He is now alive, discovering who he is, nurturing the relationships that have suffered for so long, and living fully, one day at a time. I love my brother. I pray for his continued success, offering my unconditional love and support.
