While the cousins were here we took a trip to Venice Beach in Half Moon Bay. It was a perfectly relaxing day! The kids were in their element and played happily for literally hours. They didn't even care that the water was cold even though us adults were in sweatshirts most of the time. There's something so calming about the beach. The sand, the surf, the sun. Oh summer, hurry back.
Somehow, despite applying sunscreen, Tom left with this awesome beach souvineer. You can't see it well in the photo but he also gave himself a huge welt by whipping himself with a long piece of seaweed.
