Ben had a birthday at the end of September. He had school on the weekend of his birthday so we weren't able to get any big celebration in. Time is sure kicking our butts these days. We managed to squeeze in a quick Happy Birthday song and some store bought Oreo ice cream cake for a treat after Family Home Evening the Monday after. Notice how everyone is in their pj's? Yeah, we really did have to squeeze it in. And as I recall, I was headed out the door to some other event as we concluded the song. I keep wondering when life will slow down. It's not looking likely anytime soon.
