My sweet hub. I love him so much! We really didn't have the money, and I didn't have the time, to make his birthday a spectacular celebration this year. Thankfully though, Ben's a no frills kind of guy, and appreciated the simple at home celebrations just as much, no, actually probably more , than a big to-do. We did squeeze in a date night to the temple and dinner the weekend before his birthday, and had all the fam over on Sunday to celebrate. Happy birthday babe. You're the best husband and father a girl could ask for!

My gift to Ben. No, not a messy kitchen. He requested a quiet evening at home with dinner ala Danelle: bookclub salad, homemade rolls, and cinnamon rolls for dessert. This is the end result. Actually I think I got out the kitchen aid to make frosting, after I took this picture. So the end result was actually worse.
