Two of the young women I've worked closely with graduated this year so a couple of us leaders took them out to lunch to celebrate. I've known Brittney since she was 12 and have watched her grow up in the Young Women Program. It's been a joy to see her come to understand the great potential she has and to gain confidence in her leadership abilities. Allegra has only been in our ward for several months, but it feels like I've known her forever. She's incredibly mature and I know will have great success in her life. I love these girls. These are the first to graduate from the Young Women program while I've been the president, and I feel a little like a mama bird watching her baby birds spread their wings for the first time.
