Single Digits

In weeks of pregnancy that is.  I'm 31 weeks today, and that means only 9 weeks left of waddling.  I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.  I hate pictures of myself.  Don't we all, but today is momentous for me so I had Meilani snap a quick pic before she went to bed.  This pregnancy has been rough, in comparison to my previous ones anyway.  Last week I even spent a few hours in the hospital feeling like I was in labor.  Turns out dehydration can bring on pretty intense contractions.  I'm super thankful this baby didn't come just yet, but I am looking forward to my hips residing in the same hemisphere again soon.  I guess my innards are pretty well stretched out at this point!  I know many women who have it much worse off than I do, so I don't mean for this to be a complaint post.  I'm just thrilled to celebrate my impending de-pregnant-ization.  Yesterday, when it was still August, we went to Costco and I saw Christmas (and Halloween) stuff on the shelves.  It was like a beacon of light!  If Christmas is right around the corner (humor me) then November 3rd will be here before we know it!  I can't wait to meet this little squirmy boy!

You are beautiful, Danelle! I'm so excited for you and the family. You are truly an inspiration to me and I can't wait to watch you become a mamma of 6!!! When life gets a bit rocky, I always think "Danelle can do this with a smile, cute hair AND five kids...I can get through this with a grin, a pony-tail and 3 kids" Thanks for being there, dear friend :-)
