Yay for Independence Day!
Yesterday Ben, Eli, Sariah, and a drugged up Liam (from his surgery the day before) rode in the Mountain House Independence Day Parade. For the last two years I've been the parade coordinator. This year I was oh so happy to sleep in past 5 am, and to enjoy the parade as a spectator!

Back then we didn't know anyone, and were anxious to become involved in our community. This year it was fun to cheer for each group that went by, and to actually know them by name! The growth of our town is exciting to witness!
Meilani danced through the parade route with her dance troop! She's growing up too fast!

Of course this makes me miss MH, one of the things I loved about living there, but it wouldn't be the same without you being in charge!
Wow, you guys are VIP! So cool! I can't believe you coordinated the parade last year, Danelle - you're amazing! Actually, I can believe it. I remember how you whipped that nursery into shape.
Seth is so adorable. What a handsome guy.
